This week we have an assortment of news and updates to help keep you going and up to date throughout this period.
Had an email in from Len Shield with some photos showing one of two young pupils he has been teaching.
Good to see all of the health and safety kit in place! But, more important than that is the fact that the finished pens produced a smile a mile wide.

Meet the Woodturner: Cindy Drozda
Well that Pat Carroll chap has pulled off another coup!
On Sunday 16th August at 7pm you can watch a free Zoom session where the awe inspiring Cindy Drozda will be answering questions on turning and telling us about her turning experiences.

Trent Bosch Remote Demo
On the 20th August you can watch Trent Bosch showing you how he makes his Cactus Hollow Forms in a remote demonstration.

You can watch Emma doing a remote demonstration on making a resin sphere.

Woodturners Worldwide Online Symposium
Sep 24, 11:00 AM – Sep 26, 6:00 PM (No idea what time zone!!). Cost is $89 though discounts are available by entering the demonstrators names.

Monday Night Zoom Sessions
The Monday night Zoom sessions are proving to be popular.
Last week we had Mr Phil Irons who gave us a workshop tour which included a pause for an amazon delivery!
This week we have Mr Pat Carroll who will be showing us some of his pieces, answering questions and generally causing mischief.
In answer to several queries the session has now been renamed to "Turning North" so that it is no longer club specific.
