This week we have an assortment of news and updates to help keep you going and up to date throughout this period.
Firstly this week it is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of Neville Bailey. Many of you will have known Neville and met him at one or other of the woodturning demonstrations or the annual open day. Neville's passing was sudden and has come as a great shock to all of us.
Neville will be a big miss and I am sure that I speak for all of us in wishing Helen and the family well at this difficult time.
Chestnut Virtual Weekender
Don't forget about the online event being run by Chestnut Finishes this weekend. The event is free to attend and there are a whole load of things going on!
The event features our good friend Emma Cook and Stuart Furini (of YouTube fame).
We also have it on good authority that there will be a musical interlude during the quiz featuring a certain Wear Valley bluesman Andrew Hall.

Meet the Turner
Well on Sunday evening we have another in the Meet the turner series from Pat Carroll.
This time the session will feature Michael Alguire, an American turner who is perhaps best known for his stunning coloured and pierced work.
