more news and updates this week, we will start with updates from the club itself and then move on.
Member Update: Ken Bryden
It looks like Ken has been busy in the workshop. A selection of photos has arrived showing some pieces of Chestnut which have been processed into bowls ready for drying. To see more take a look at Ken's gallery: CLICK HERE
Monday Night Zoom Update
Last Monday's Zoom session went well, we seem to have a regular crowd which is growing. In the last session we were given a workshop tour by Martin Stacey who showed us that you don't need a large space to produce a wide variety of excellent work.
This week week we have a workshop tour by Gary Lowe, I'm sure many of you have seen Gary demonstrate.

Tiny Turner Live Demonstration
Many of you will be familiar with Emma Cook aka The Tiny Turner. Well, Emma is doing a live demonstration using Zoom. The topic is texturing with carving chisels, the session is on Saturday 25th July at 7pm in the UK, price is only £10. You can book a ticket for the session on Emma's web site: CLICK HERE
Live Demonstration: Pat Carroll
Another live demonstration this weekend comes from Pat Carroll. Some of you will have seen Pat at the last club demonstration before lock-down. However a lot of members didn't make it and missed an absolute treat.
You have a second chance this Sunday 26th July at 7pm when Pat is showing us how to make his square boxes with pewter inlays. You can buy a ticket (tickets are 10 euros) for the demonstration from Pat's website: CLICK HERE
