Hello folks, we managed to hold the March meeting despite the current difficulties and it proved to be well worth the effort. Members and guests from other clubs were given a treat by visiting Irish turner Pat Carroll.

Pat gave those in attendance a masterclass in turning, texturing and the use of colour, producing one of his signature boxes and then going on to show the use of texture and colour on a number of  bowls/platters.

Despite the concerns over the health issues it is safe to say that everyone present enjoyed the day and thanks to Pat they were able to set aside some of the other concerns for a little while.

The photos for the event were taken by Helen Bailey and our thanks go to her for providing such great images to record the day.

Stay safe and keep turning.
