Once again we had a successful Open Day at Brampton Community Centre. It was great to see people from around the North of England and Scotland in particular the clubs who participated in the club competition.

Special thanks go to Paul Hannaby Chairman AWGB (The Association of Woodturners of Great Britain) for his demonstration on Saturday showing useful techniques to create bowls and boxes. Then on Sunday acted as our guest judge for the inter-club competition.

Thanks go to all the members who helped setting up and clearing the show and again in particular to James Costin and Roger Foster who gave demonstrations throughout the day.

Congratulations to Northumbria Woodturners who won the inter-club competition (for the third year running).

The next club meeting is on Thursday 22nd November at 7:00 p.m

The main event will be a Bring and Buy remember to bring all those tools and accessories to sell to make room for all the new ones you have bought at Harrogate.
